The Journey…
Wyoming
Born and raised in Cody, Wyoming, Dr. Umphlett started her journey to dentistry by earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She then returned home to serve as an associate with her childhood dentist.
New Mexico
After a few years of learning from her mentor, Dr. Umphlett went on to serve patients in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was on a quest to find not only the perfect place to settle down, but also a community she loved full of people she’d be excited to serve. New Mexico was great, but not quite right for her.
Colorado
But Colorado… She was finally home! The beauty, the people, the adventures, and the smiles. Not only was it the perfect place to live, but she found the perfect dental practice to lead into the future. Dr. Umphlett had the amazing privilege to take over a legacy dental practice with a remarkable reputation in the community and bring it into a new era driven by stress-free comfort, modern treatments, and advanced technology.
Home Sweet Home
She loves everything Colorado has to offer including being outdoors, golfing, hiking, and snowboarding. Best of all, everyone loves dogs here, and she gets to take her along everywhere she goes.

Born and raised in Alaska, Shannan has served our patients for over 15 years. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling, running, DIY projects, and adventuring with her husband and their two daughters.
Milissa Nelson
Office Manager
A Colorado native, Milissa has served our patients for nearly five years. She loves animals, hiking, reading, food, wine, being with friends, and being very involved in her twin’s lives.
Kirsten Arbuthnot
Dental Assistant
Kirsten has been serving our patients since April of 2021. She enjoys traveling, reading, and listening to music.
